It is always an option for any one with in their org, but if his point is wrong, then IV core leadership should prove him that they are not sitting idle or moving very very slow.
Every one starting their own organization or asking to do so doesn't solve the purpose.
Why cant he start an initiative and take it to completion and show everybody that he can do something. IV is for everybody just complaining wouldn't take us far. :confused:

I checked with my lawyer today. They only received 2 approvals since January.:eek: This is pathetic.

There are plans on IVs agenda to see if we can collectively help ourselves on these issues.
I recommend all members to use every channel you get to fix issues like these.
We are entitled for a fair process and we must make sure every application is treated in a fair manner.
Folks - anyone can face these issues.

mine too PD March 21 2003.... phew.. got stuck in BEC and then retrogression.. long wait.. and now 485 filed with long wait for EAD:)may be But hey, life is always that way, who knows what is next:)
March 2003!!??u were current in June.
If u applied 485 in June 07 u might have already been alloted a visa number...Call uscis to find out...A nicer IO may give u some details abt your case

I told him that i have to make travel arrangements for the month of october.
He said to call back mid next week, if i didnot get the receipt by then.

Just called Scott Brown and Senator Greg. The person who picked up the phone in Scott Brown offcie noted my name and address. He said he will give my message to the Senator. The lady in Judd Gregg office said that Senator has not yet decided on the immigration proposal but she said the Senator appreciates the call. She did not ask my details but said that the Senator has supported immigration bills in the past. They both sounded very positive.
Printed out the post and I will continue to call all Senators.

i had run these numbers a while back. for sure EB2 will reach the end of 2005 this year. i just hope its done systematically so that they clear everybody with an EB2 2005 PD this year.
Trust me, my friend - I surely believe in systematic movement and by this june/july it will be Dec05 or beyond. Dates for EB2 have stayed around apr04 for really longer and then suddenly to 06. Very few perms were cleared in 05 (as per your posting). It should logivcally be past 2005 , never to go back.BTW ,we missed GC last aug/sept lotto

I just spoke to a lady at USCIS and she told me they just started working on case receipts for July 2nd and onwards so in next couple of weeks most of you who filed in first week of july should see their receipts..this is what she told me and she sounded very authentic..

I do not know if USCIS is going with receipt date or any procedure. My Receipt date is June 27, 2007. Notice date is August 9, 2007. My case is not touched either till now.

Dear IV,
Its not about me. I am planning to do a flower or some campaign that all will agree upon in less than a week. We must do before the next bulletin comes out.
Is it possible for IV to send a very good number of flowers to the departments.
i believe IV leadership has mentioned many times that 'more visa numbers' is the only solution to this mess. Which can be only done by changes in law.When IV planned some thing for it (recapture bill phone call campaign) the participation was not great.
I wonder, every one running like headless chicken solves any thing.

The cutoff date in Oct/Nov bulletin will be somewhere in 2002 so that people with older PD can be cleared. Remember it is only during last few months of the Fiscal Year that USCIS starts widening the Window (Example: In June Bulletin they moved windows by 2 yrs suddently from 2001 to 2003. So i believe they are aware there are lot of people in 2001/2002 yet without approval). During initial months of FY they keep the cutoff date tight which should help older PD's get through.

I got the e-mail today as well. My PD is Sep 2005 and my I-485 receipt date was Sep 30, 2005.
Couple of people I know got their approvals with PDs of 2004 and 2005 in EB2 and EB3.. Hopefully dates will look better in october visa bulletin.

to change the Priority date from the date of application of Labor to date of filing H1B is?
2) What is the proposed plan of action to deal with the 100K plus applications already applied for?
Ans 1) Fairness...H1-B transfer becomes a reality...One can look for better Job oppurtunities...otherwise why even allow H1-B transfer when there are hidden GC related problems.
Ans 2) It should be applied to new AOS applications only.
