This is my third EAD renewal. My 485 is pending at NSC. I am in CA. All my previous EADs/APs etc were filed at NSC.
This time when my EAD renewal is filed (by my new attorney, in new company) I got receipt Number starting with MSC.
Who decides where to file MSC? What's the criteria to file at MSC? Shouldn't it be file at NSC?
Is this a mistake?
No it is not. It is the National Benefits Center receipt number. Mine got transferred from the TSC.

I guess u are talking about changing your monthly contribution to IV. You can cancel your current contribution and sign up for monthly contribution again with the new card.

I'm confused about where a "I-485 with a LIN#" combo (my case) should be sending his EAD renewal documents over to? (Refering to pages 8-10 of I-765 instructions).

Did any one get their labor approved that are filed after June 2008? Does anyone know how long it is taking these days?
Is there any way to expedite it? Looks like perm is also becoming like old labor processing.

Hello,
I was wondering how long it took for everyone's check to be cashed once their packages were received at the TX service center? I'm worried because from what I read before the check cashing was almost immediate, while getting a receipt actually took longer. My package was received and signed for by Michael Salcedo on November 13th, but the check still hasn't cashed and I do not have a receipt. My husband and I are planning on travelling to Canada for Christmas, will crossing the border be a problem? Any advice anyone can give would be great! Thanks in advance!

A little out of the box thinking. There are some useful ideas here even if there are many practical questions on how the plan would work. For one, is a highest bidder system necessarily the best indicator of which employers are most deserving of securing visas. Should a school system desperate for math teachers lose out on securing a visa just because it has a much more limited budget than a major corporation? I'd suggest perhaps looking at a program like this running as a separate track in the immigration system rather than necessarily replacing what we have. Of course,...

The annual Consumer Electronics Show kicks off this week in Las Vegas. This is the gadget wonderland I've attended for the last several years. Due to my father's illness, I decided to skip this year's show. But I'm avidly watching online for announcements of the year's best new innovations. The show is put on by the Consumer Electronics Association and they've recently launched "The Innovation Movement" which seeks to encourage public policies that foster innovation and promote prosperity. As of 23 September 2006, we have received less than 15 questions in preparation for the next call. This does not meet the critical mass of 20-25 questions for justifying a conference call.
Please follow process listed in the thread http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1267 for us to consider your questions.
Also, please spread the word around.
I am attaching a flyer for your convenience. You could request your friendly neighborhood ethnic grocer (Indian/Mexican/Chinese/Filipino and others) or video rental store, religious gathering or communal gathering place to carry these flyers in a prominent location. (You'll be surprised at the positive response you will get from such businesses- I had my reservations at first, but when I approached a temple sometime back, the temple officer appreciated the efforts made by us for such a "great cause"- his own words).

My law firm applied my EAD/AP/485 on Aug 13th. I got my Receipt Notices for all three.
My question is where does USCIS send the FP Notice and EAD?
Do they send it to my house address or lawyer?
