hey everyone I was trying to download the swift 3d because a pparently it sweems like a cool one but the download trial wasn't accuriable anyway I looged into the net store and checked the full program, it costs about 159$ so I guess I want to download the trial first to give it a try before spending that much amount of money so if any of you know where to donwlaod it just plz post me a message with the title"FOund what you wanted" on your subjectt space.=)

Hi All,

Would like to know if anyone has any H1B extensions approved/RFE's/denied (whether regular or premium processing) after the January 8 USCIS memo. Please indicate whether full-time or consultant.

I applied for H1B extension - receipt date December 23rd, 2009. Upgraded to premium on January 21, 2010 (Jan 21 date updated in case status on USCIS website). Working as full-time - (empoloyer is not into consulting), Extension is for 3 years beyond 6 years, I-140 approved.

Also, anyone know how long does it take these days for extensions under Premium processing to be approved.

your father can apply for visitor visa, but there are no guarnatees she will be approved. Even if he is approved and comes to the USA, applying for adjustment of status would be a mistake (entering as tourist while in fact intending to immigrate) and could lead to permanent bar. If he applys and is approved, she can come to visit and return to home country thats the better option.

Hi,

My situation -
I am a homemaker on H4 since 2007. ( My husband on H1 ).
Doing MS on H4 ( with few credits still to go )( not full time ).
H4 is due stamping ( Already extended till 2012 ).

Objective -
- To be on F1, to utilize CPT / OPT.

QUESTIONS -

QUESTION - - Which one is better H4 to F1 in US via change of status - I-539 ( BUT That
way i had to face the consulate again for F1 stamping ( Also, very few
credits are left with my MS as in now ))
OR
Directly F1 Visa stamping at
US consulate in India ( It'll be surely fast, that way i won't have to go back for stamping with very few credits left ) ?

Hi, I am in 8th year of H1b with 140 approved (EB3) from company A. I would like to switch to company B and planning to start EB2 quickly to enage a new interesting project . I have following questions related to the same and early advice from you all would be highly appreciated as am running out of time in engaging the new project.

1. Can I do H1 transfer from company A to company B using A's 140 approval after my 6 years of original h1b quota. I am currently on 8th year of h1b.

2. Can I able to port the priority date from company A's EB3 filing with the new EB2 filing from company B?

3. If company A cancels the 140, still can I able to port the PD ?

Hi

I am July 2 Filer and got the checks cashed on October 11. The USCIS mailed receipts on October 15 and I received them on October 18th.

Because of high speed winds, my mail box got opened ( unsecured on a single family home) and much of the mail got swept away. I scouted the neighbourhood and recovered all but one receipt notice.

One doubt nagging me is if I had lost any FP notice on that day.

What has been the general wait time to get FP notices from the day the checks were cashed / receipts receieved ? I know it depends on how busy the ASCs are, so particularly interested hearing from Chicago area.

Is there anything I can do from my side to know if I indeed got a FP notice?

i have been offered a job at my current research centre where i worked as a student. I want to go back to my home country. The job can be done online and does not require physical presence in the USA. Will i still need an OPT? or can they employ me as an international worker? if they wmploy me as an international consultant then what are the ramifications for teh company? wht is the legal procedure? will they have to pay taxes more etc?

Can we go to USCIS office after 90 days of filing I-485 to get EAD? Also, does the 90 day counter starts once we file or when we get the receipt from USCIS. Please advice!

I'm sure the lawyers have already told you that this is not possible. The company cannot refile PERM now because all the ads, posting, etc are too old. They would have to start again.

U can ask your HR (if they are willing) to create an account for u on the PERM website...u can then login and check the status.
