Trying to help Mother-In-Law over from China for visit. Unsuccessful w/ tourist Visa process, so now going for Green Card. Received Notice of Decision against me, unable to establish my Petitioner wife is daughter of Beneficiary Mother-In-Law. No hospital records. Previous evidence was "Notarial Certificate of Relationship." I have just received new evidence "Notarial Certificate of Birth" from civil authorities - along with affidavit from school teacher - I need to file EOIR-29, I think to call it APPEAL, OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE, MOTION TO RECONSIDER - can anyone provide a "go-by" as to what format my letter should take? Is letter format acceptable or is formal pleading format needed?
Time is of the essence, I have to file within 24 hours or give up and pursue DNA testing....

They can incorporate a company but they cannot do any work for it( not even write a check) or take any salary from it. But if the person has an EAD, there are very few restrictions.

Dear friends,
I was just checking my H1b extension status and it seems that it got approved (3 weeks time). while looking for my H1b extension status i happen to find the link below,
USCIS: National Processing Volumes and Trends (http://dashboard.uscis.gov/)
It gives the processing trends by month based on trends or volume of application processed. This dashboard is for all applications forms submitted to USCIS, you can select form type, office and chart type. Data can also be downloaded in CSV raw format for analysis.

I am currently on H1B and in the process of leaving my current employer XYZ Inc. I also have an EAD that I haven't used yet but plan to use going forward. I understand that XYZ will and is rather obligated to notify USCIS of termination of my H1B employment by virtue of which, USICS will take steps to revoke the H1B petition. That being said,
1. Will I (beneficiary) and / or XYZ (petitioner) will receive a notice saying my H1B petition has been revoked?
2. Will it help in any shape or form if I were to fill an (back dated) I-9 form with XYZ indicating that I was already on EAD with XYZ before my termination? In this case, is XYZ still obligated to notify USCIS of termination of my H1B employment?
3. What constitutes a "bona fide termination" and is this even applicable in my case? Should I have a formal resignation letter in place for audit / RFE purposes down the road, if any?

I am applying my Labor on EB2 tomorrow (07/26/2007). Is there any glim chacne for me to get the approval before 08/14/2007? I am going through Atlanta. Please let me know how long is the average time to get the cetification from atlanta center. (One of my friend applied on 07/17/07 and got the LC on 07/23/07 from atlanta center).

Hi,
I have my interview on March9th at Islamabad US Embassy and got a white sheet that my visa has been approved but needs further administratice processing. I have been calling PK Us Embassy and DOS every other week to check the status and got tjhe same response that it is in 'Pending'.
Just today i called in the afternoon PK US Embassy and a guy told me that my AP is in final stage and also asked me if i have my docs and PP with me or is it with us (the embassy) ?. I told him that it is with you guys and then he told me that you should be getting your docs and PP next week or early the week after. I joked with him to see if he was just making my day and he laughed and said no Sir you should be getting it next week. So at night i called DOS just to verify what is going on and DOS stated that my status is still pending.
Now i am confused as to whose telling the truth and whose telling the lie. It has been 65 days for me since the date of my interview. Anyone else experience this before ?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
